One of the plagues of ministry is being so busy serving the Lord that we forsake fellowship with the Lord we serve. Leaders who experience Christ's abundant life naturally share the overflow of that life with others.

Spirituality, simply put, means experiencing God with us in all aspects of life. Our strategy equips leaders to align their fellowship, workplace, and ministry around spiritual vitality. People live in and express God's grace and power in all aspects of life and work.

Spiritual growth is not automatic. Philippians 2:12–13 holds the tension: "...work out your salvation, for God is at work within you..." We intentionally embrace our part, relying fully on the Lord to do his part.

Vitality comes from paying attention to God, ourselves, others, and life. Assessments, books, workbooks, journals, and discussion guides help participants better understand themselves and the way God wants to work in and through them.
About the name "Lorica"
Our Name: Lorica is the Gaelic (Irish) word for “breastplate,” referring to the piece of armor that protects the heart and vital organs.
“The Lorica” is one of the names given to St. Patrick’s Prayer which includes these well-known words:
Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
The breastplate references at least two biblical passages.
Ephesians 6:1-18
The Apostle Paul exhorts Christians to be dressed in the full armor of God, including “the breastplate of righteousness” to protect themselves in the spiritual battle.
Proverbs 4:23
"Above all else, guard your heart for from it flow the springs of life.” We choose the name Lorica because we equip Jesus’ apprentices to guard their hearts and care for their souls as they bring faith into all of life.
